Social Reflections was born out of my desire to share some personal ideas and thoughts on the emerging media that is oftentimes referred to as Social Media. However, this is also a personal forum of sorts to share my thoughts on Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Search Engine Marketing (SEM), Affiliate Marketing, Web Analaytics and everything else that may fall in between.

As an Internet and Web enthusiast it has been fascinating to witness the rise of Web 2.0 from the ashes of the dot come bubble. See, my relationship to the Internet goes all the way back to early 1994. It truly was “love at first click” even on the archaic Mosaic browser! So, the future of the Internet truly excites me.

My goal with this blog is to address the issues facing businesses as they attempt to embrace digital media. Companies face many marketing challenges in this front. From developing digital marketing strategy to evaluating the landscape of emerging and evolving tactics, I have a breadth of experience to bring to the table. As a result of many years of working in the digital marketing space I have thoughts, ideas and solutions that can help your company deliver a measurable ROI on your digital marketing! I hope to share these on this blog.

Currently I am working on developing Sabdamala.com – an online video distribution company that delivers educational videos to the Hindi and Nepali speaking markets. In my most recent position I was Director of Interactive Marketing at AIR Marketing, a marketing agency in Phoenix, Arizona.
