"Big Impact" - how about big liability?

With the increase in blogging and personal websites, what do you think will be the lasting impact of such critiques? As we all know, Google doesn't forget anything - ever - even if it's deleted later on.

Along with social media and on-line reputations, don't we have also greater responsibility to monitor? With the availability of such forums, will customer service improve?

Will this force a response from companies - no matter what the size - to recognize the error of their ways and take steps to improve them?

In the end, will all of "this" make a difference or are we just spinning our wheels and wishing on rainbows?
